My Rolling and Tongue

I'm about to go on another trip. I'm really excited because I'll get to play with Foster. And there will be plenty of family to make a fuss over me.

I learned how to stick out my tongue on Monday. I've been doing it every day. Raspberries to come later.

I am also rolling quite a bit across the floor. I no longer just get off of my blanket but can get 4-5 feet if I want. Mommy said she was going to have to stop leaving the door at the top of the steps open.

Peas are peachy

I told mommy that I don't want to post every new food I try, but I had to post that I had my first veggie tonight - PEAS! They are great. I'm looking forward to a few more spoonfuls tomorrow. I am trying to grab all the food off of any plate I see, so the step into more solids is exciting for me.

Rice Cereal

Well 2 weeks after the doctor gave the go ahead & many discussions between daddy and mommy, I finally got a few spoonfuls of rice cereal last night. Mommy roasted a chicken & made rice as a side dish. I grabbed at the rice during dinner & frankly told daddy & mommy that I was ready. Mommy complied because I was so persistent. So she gave me organic rice cereal. I don't know if I liked it or not. Last night she mixed it with breast milk & this morning she tried with just water. I definitely liked the milk better, so we'll see what happens from here. Looks like I've got many taste tests coming in my near future.

I'm This Big!

I went to my 4 month checkup a little while ago. The nurse measured my length and it was off of the growth chart. So the doctor remeasured me and got 1/4" less which placed me about 93-95% in length. I am officially 25 7/8" long. I'm 15 pounds 1 ounce which puts me at 80% on the growth chart. Mommy is wondering what I am on the new breastfed baby growth chart but she said she didn't have time to look it up right now. So the percentiles you see here are based on mostly formula fed babies. Oh and my head is about 55% percentile. At least my head isn't off of the chart! I wouldn't want anyone to think I have a big head.

Speaking of eating, the doctor told mommy that I can have rice cereal for the next month to learn how to eat. Then she suggested that I try veggies around 5 months and fruit after that. I'm excited because I keep eyeing what is on the dinner table and wondering why they aren't giving it to me!

I'm blogging today from my brand new Infant-to-Toddler Rocker that just came in the mail. Mommy spent the money that daddy's co-workers gave us the other day so items are rolling in. I hear there is a new stroller in the hallway that is the stylish color - Tangerine.

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin'

Trinity's a rollin'

I am officially rolling over every which way but loose! I am beginning to enjoy playing with toys and I am increasing enamored with my daddy and big brother.
